l2:2:wait:/etc/init.d/rc 2

• étiquette "l2"
• si on démarre au niveau 2
• lancer la commande /etc/init.d/rc 2
• et attendre qu'elle se soit terminée pour passer à la suite

Démarrage au niveau 2

• Le niveau 2 est le niveau par défaut
• au démarrage, lancement du script /etc/init.d/rcS
• La combinaison Controle-alt-del lancera un "shutdown" immédiat
• puis de /etc/init.d/rc 2
• et enfin de /bin/getty pour démarrer un programme de login (celui qui vous demande votre nom et votre mot de passe) dans les consoles virtuelles
